Now that I have your attention… I will be in Vegas this weekend for a best friend’s 21st birthday. However, that is not to say that there aren’t plenty of fun things to do in Tampa while I’m gone. This Saturday, Curtis Hixon Park will have its annual Tampa Bay Margarita Festival. I was truly upset to find out that I wouldn’t be able to attend this event… There’s not much more you can ask for with sunshine, live entertainment, and never-ending margaritas. Margarita Fest will be hosted by more tequila brands than you could ever remember (sober or not)… Some of the most popular ones are: Don Julio, Bud Light Lime, Corona, Grand Marnier, Margaritaville, and if you can’t stomach tequila, there’s Rex and Goliath Wine as well. While you’re there, relive the 1990s with headliner Smash Mouth playing at the park.
Things To Know:
- Regular general admission is $17, $20 at the door (if available). You can buy your ticket here
- The event will be held from noon-11pm
- It is best to park in one of the surrounding garages near Curtis Hixon
- Food vendors will be everywhere so no one will be drinking on an empty stomach!
